.

Walking to the Endeavour Falls.

.

We reached the most Eastern tip of Aus in Byron Bay but the Endeavour Falls is as far North as we can get without a 4WD.

This leaves us over 1000km short of Cape York which is only a gravel road from here. Imagine driving over a corrugated tin roof for the effect!!!

.

On the way back from Cooktown we camped at the famous Lion Den's Hotel.

.

Inside the 'Den'

Karen has a sherbet.

.

We left our mark on the wall like those before us.

More wildlife.

We were driving from the Daintree River to the camp in Cape Tribulation and spotted two Cassowary's.

There are on the endagered species list as there are only 1200 - 1500 left in the wild.

They are also one of the most dangerous animals in Aus!!!

.

Crossing the stream in Cape Tribulation.

Warning - Achtung

It couldn,t be any simpler.

Myall Beach, one of the most beautiful we have visited.

If you swim you get eaten by a croc - simples!!!!.

Just to reinforce the message as we crossed the Daintree River on the ferry we saw one, only a baby at 4 metres but.............

.

Jack all smiles as he can't read just yet.

.

Jack and Heath say goodbye. in Olive.

.

The plane is located in the centre of Kuranda near the night market. It didn't crash there, it was a film prop for the 1983 movie Sky Pirates.

.

On the way back from Cape Trib we stayed in Kuranda and were invited to stay at  Jillian, Josh, Jessop and Jeddah's (we met these guy's in Kirramine Beach before Cairn's and they were cool) Dad's place.

Jillian reads Jessop and Jack a story before bed.

A big thank you to 'Blue' (Bruce) for letting us stay.

See You There????
