Were Off....1st 7 Days

After waiting for a break in the rain (which didn't happen) we set off from Orbost East Gippsland Victoria on the 26th April.

1st stop Mallacoota at a distance of 145km.

Where did you get that hat....Needs must.  Thankful for Bobs terry towelling hat as the rain continues.

Olive camouflaged in the trees at Bermagui.

Free camping at Bodalla and glad that Ivan Milat is behind bars! Needless to say there were no trips to the 'drop' toilet during the night.

Toasting bread with the Bear Grylls Gerber knife

Enjoying an egg banjo at Batemans Bay

Photo op's at the Victoria / New South Wales Border.......JV fast asleep so missed out.

Day 3 and 1st Roo sighting at the Mimosa Rocks National Park at Aragunnu. We can confirm that the track is also not suitable for 40 year old camper vans. White knuckle ride.

Lake Conjola. More roo's which were a tad over friendly. One eying Jacks cars and the other the fridge.

Plenty of wildlife............Pelican, Toad Stool and Kookaburra.

Jervis Bay. The photos don't do the place justice it's like a scene from a movie.

Nowra - Jack may be smiling but the van isn't. This is how things end up after 24 hrs constant rain!!

Next stop Canberra...........see you there.
