1st stop after Broome was Port Headland which is the mining hub of Australia.

To see the sheer magnitude of the mining operations whilst impressive brings home the parasitic nature of mankind.

 

The drivers cabin gives a perspective of the size.

It took 20 minutes for the train to pass loaded with iron ore. There over 2km long!

Weet a Bix time again for Jack....somewhere.

Andrew enjoys a glass of beer at our 1st camp in Ningaloo.

 

 

Just like that......................how to keep the flys off and still drink a beer!!

 

 

Don't mess with a mans beer.

 

The Guy's in the pitch next to us said if you make your 'EMU' arm taller than the real thing they think your the alpha male and will leave you alone.

Coral Bay Beach....home of shark attacks!!

Shark prevention strategy No 1......Keep as much of your body out of the water you can.

 

Helps if you have one arm longer than the other.

Shark Attraction Strategy No 1....Two peaple keep as much of there body in the water as they can.

Fish (500mm long) in the shallows at Coral Bay.

 

Obviously trying to avoid the sharks.

The 2,500km  journey from Broome to Perth in 8 days was challenging.

Time for a rest and birthday celebrations...............So were off to Bali........See You There?
