We don't know an awful lot about the van but what we do know is that it's a 1973 VW T2 'Bay' campervan poptop with an 1800cc aircooled engine and a 4 speed manual gearbox. It was converted by a Melbourne based workshop called Sunliner and is pretty much as per the original fit-out.

We have included a number of the pictures recieved via the garage owner and from the 20th March 2015 onwards we will post progress updates. We have allowed 2-3 weeks worth of additional work post REGO including new fridge freezer, dual leisure battery, curtains, cabinetry alterations as required, CRAB (were still working on the implications for this as it's difficult without talking to a motor engineer), flooring, bits of paint work and all importantly a new set of wheels!!!.

As you can see pretty much original condition after being 'aged' for 40 years. Lots to do in March to make the van more liveable in with a few creature comforts, up to the rigours of a 30,000km trip and personalised to make it our home. More pictures to follow..........
